Winds from thunderstorm in Burlington Ky. today took off the roof of an apartment building. I looked out my balcony here at Burlington Woods Apartments, and all of a sudden everything went black. The layer beneath the shingles caught wind, and totally blew the entire roof over the backside of the building, completely covering my balcony and the ones below. Some damage to a few vehicles in the parking lot from falling shingles, but no one was hurt.
