The CINCINNATI ICEBREAKERS SLED HOCKEY team is one of a kind in the Tri-state area. However, it is one of 30+ sled hockey teams across the country.  This unique sport, represented in the Paralympics is designed especially for individuals with a physical disability who want to play ice hockey but cannot skate in a standing position. The Cincinnati team, consisting of both youth and adults practice each Wednesday at Sports Plus in Evendale. This non-profit program is dependent on private and corporate donations. If you are interested in learning about being a player, volunteer or would like to make a donation, please contact Renee Loftspring, PT, EdD, and founder at sledhockey@zoomtown.com
