What to say about a deck? Oh what the heck.
Let’s make a rhyme. It doesn’t cost a dime.
So we wrote a poem about our home.
There’s no place like home, be it ever so humble
When there’s work to do, I try not to grumble
When the dishes are done and there’s nothing in the sink
I think I’ll sit and have myself a drink
But then I look upon the patio
And I’m not so glad-io
I would love a renovation
But who has time for that frustration
There’s no time dawdle, much less remodel
If only I had a deck to call my own
I’d be like a queen on her throne
Home Sweet Home
