Ferguson, Missouri police now wearing body cameras

FERGUSON, Mo. (WKRC) -- Police in Ferguson Missouri are now equipped with body cameras, after an officer shot an unarmed teenager, sparking weeks of riots and protests.

They began wearing the cameras Saturday, as protesters gathered outside the department demanding justice for 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Brown was shot to death by officer Darren Wilson on August 9th, 2014.

The devices attach to their uniforms and record video and audio.

And had they been in use at the time of the shooting, the footage could have shed light on what actually happened that night.
