Drug suspects crash during police chase in Adams County

WINCHESTER, Ohio (WKRC) -- A traffic stop turned into a chase in Adams County that ended in a crash.

Two men face several charges, including drug trafficking and robbery.  Winchester police tried to stop a car around 8:15 Monday, August 18th, 2014. Officers said the driver sped away but crashed about five minutes later on Russellville Road near Eckmansville road.

Police said the crash injured the driver, 19-year-old Tyrone Mallory of Cincinnati.  He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and then booked into the Adams County Jail on charges of drug trafficking, failure to comply, robbery, OVI, driving under suspension and other traffic issues.

The car's passenger, 20-year-old Rallan Carter, was also arrested. He was charged with drug trafficking and robbery. Officers said they found crack cocaine during the investigation.
