Democrats may change candidate to face Monzel

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A familiar name in the world of politics could get in on the race for Hamilton County commissioner.

Former Mayor Charlie Luken could run against Republican Chris Monzel in the November 2014 election.  Democrats would have to first convince candidate, Sean Feeney to withdraw.
Former Cincinnati Vice Mayor Jim Tarbell and Mount Washington businessman Greg Landsman were also considering bids.  The sudden interest in the race against Monzel stems from outrage over the scaled back sales tax proposal Monzel and fellow commissioner Greg Hartmann placed on the November ballot.
It would raise money to fix Union Terminal but Music Hall was left out of the plan.
