Family settles with city of Mason in wrongful death lawsuit

MASON, Ohio (WKRC) -- A deal was reached in a wrongful death lawsuit involving a mentally ill man who died after a confrontation with police.

An attorney for the family of Doug Boucher said they settled the suit with the city of Mason and two police officers for $375,000.  Boucher died in 2009 after the officers shocked him with a stun gun seven times, kicked him and hit him with a baton.
Most of this happened after he fell face-first onto the ground and stopped moving.
