Grannies dazzle sports fans with moves
PHOENIX (WKRC) -- A group of grannies is dazzling thousands of sports fans with their dance moves.
The "Golden Grannies" are known for their shiny gold pants and accessories. They dance in front of thousands of fans at Phoenix Suns games.
The women are in their 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, but that doesn't stop them from dancing to hip-hop. They get down to Jay-Z and Ludacris.
"This year we had a few new hip-hop moves that are not in our repertoire, so we had to work really hard to work those because it's now how we're used to moving," says Jane Bechtol, one of the dancers.
"Well, I'm loving the routine we just did because my favorite move is one false move, and I'll take ya down," says Mary Lou Roof, another dancer.
These ladies say they are inspiring others and gaining lots of fans. Some even ask for autographs.
