Sinkhole repairs to take at least a month

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Work to fix a huge sinkhole will take longer than originally estimated.

The city said crews were making progress on the ruptured sewer line on East Shields Street near Vine.  It caused the pavement to give way under a Metro bus.
The city said because the hole is so deep there are safety concerns for the workers and that has slowed things down.  Supports must be built in the hole to prevent a cave-in.
Repairs are now expected to take a month.
