Coroner will not release Ramsey autopsy

BOONE COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) -- Boone County's coroner decided not to release the autopsy and toxicology reports for Samantha Ramsey.
Ramsey was the young woman shot and killed by a Boone County sheriff's deputy almost two months ago.  Coroner Doug Stith says the results could hurt the ongoing investigation.
The 19-year-old was leaving a field party along the Ohio River when deputy Tyler Brockman tried to stop her car.  Ramsey hit him with her Subaru, throwing him onto the hood of her car.
As Local 12 News was first to report, a panel of veteran law enforcement officers without any connection to the Boone County Sheriff's Office is reviewing the case before it goes to a grand jury.
