Lumenocity tickets gone in 12 minutes

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- It took just 12 minutes for more than thirty-seven thousand tickets for Lumenocity to be snapped up.

Lumenocity, in Washington Park was a huge hit last summer, it's happening again this August first, second and third.

While the event is free, organizers expect big crowds so they decided to distribute free tickets through Ticketmaster. A search finds some of these tickets popping up on eBay, Craig's List and Stub Hub, for a price.

Chris Pinelo with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, says that's unfortunate since this is really a free community event. "The limit was four.  So if someone got more that four tickets online this morning, that order is subject to be voided. If you are thinking about buyng tickets online I would be cautious about that because nobody has their Lumenocity tickets either."

CSO indicated on its Facebook page that some additional tickets may become available throughout the summer.
