Haddon Hall reopens in Avondale after renovations

AVONDALE, Ohio (Rich Jaffe) -- Neighbors and city leaders welcome a multi-million dollar renovation to an Avondale apartment complex.

Haddon Hall celebrated a $12.4 million dollar renovation Monday. City leaders and dignitaries cut the ribbon on the complex for low-income disabled and senior citizens.

It's a place that 114 people call home. While it's on the National Registry of Historic Places, Haddon Hall is almost all new on the inside. There are water conserving faucets and shower heads and energy star appliances. Universally designed features have been added to make it more accessible. Security and building access have also been improved.
