City discussing ending ban on Pit Bulls

FORT THOMAS, Ky. (WKRC) -- Fort Thomas is considering ending its ban on Pit Bulls.

No one in the city has been allowed to keep a Pit Bull for 26 years.  A couple dozen people want the ban repealed.  Two council members want to see legislation of specific breeds removed from ordinances and instead focus on the city's dangerous animal law.
Pit Bulls are the only breed banned in Fort Thomas.  The public safety commission will meet early next month to discuss making changes and offer a recommendation.
