Police need help catching suspect in shooting case

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- The step brother of a Hamilton murder victim is on the run and wanted by police.

Michael Gilmore is charged with shooting a two people on Monument Street on March 23, two days after his step brother's murder. No one was struck by any bullets. Police believe he was shooting at people in retaliation.

Deandrew Jackson was shot in the head on South Front Street March 21 and later died. His accused killer took a Greyhound bus to Lexington where he was arrested.

Gilmore did not attend his step brother's funeral and was supposed to turn himself in. Since that hasn't happened, Crimestoppers in offering a reward for information about where he may be.
