Stolen car crashes into Union Twp. house

UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police catch the man suspected of driving a stolen car into a home in Union Township, Clermont County Thursday morning. They've identified him as 31-year-old Otis Arnold.

Police in Campbell County started pursuing the car which was stolen. The chase ended at the home on Ross Lane off of Mt. Carmel Tobasco Road just before 6 a.m. A man was sleeping just a few feet away from where the car crashed into the home. A family member says the impact felt like an earthquake. There are no major injuries.

Investigators say Arnold bailed from the car and ran off. Police from several agencies responded to track him down. They caught up with Arnold on Auxier Drive about an hour later. A woman called police after she saw someone hiding in the back of her pickup truck.

It appears Arnold had to be treated for some injuries from the crash. He will be taken to Campbell County first to face charges there.
