Video of Brown Co. murder suspect and victim retrieving guns

BROWN COUNTY, Ohio (Rich Jaffe) -- The suspect in the murder of a Georgetown woman appeared in court a second time, just days after the murder.

26-year-old Daniel Somoskey is charged with the murder of Stacy Flora. A grand jury has already indicted him. He appeared in Common Pleas court Thursday morning. He was quiet and reserved. The judge appointed a public defender for him. The judge also continued his bond at $1 million.

Local 12 has surveillance video of Somoskey and Flora arriving at the Brown County Sheriff's Office last Friday to retrieve three guns deputies confiscated from him in January. Those guns were retrieved about 48 hours before Flora was shot and killed.

It's important to note, the Sheriff's Office did nothing wrong by giving the guns back to Somoskey. It was required by a court order and done by the book.
