Boone Co. deputies investigate Conner threats

HEBRON, Ky. (WKRC) -- A series of threats leads to extra security at Conner High School in Boone County.

Wednesday, someone called the high school and threatened both the high school and the middle school. Deputies determined the call came from the Middle School. Investigators are still trying to determine who called in that threat.

It follows two other threats. Monday, a student discovered a threatening message written inside a bathroom stall at the high school. The message read "everybody's going to die 3-19-14." Deputies and school officials are trying to determine who wrote it.

Tuesday night, a Conner High School student wrote a threatening Facebook post regarding the students and staff. That student was identified and disciplined by the school.
Each school has a full-time school resource officer. The sheriff has also dispatched and assigned two extra uniformed deputies to help as needed. We're told parents and staff are aware.
