Opening Day Parade takes different route this year

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The annual Opening Day Parade Monday will take a different route this year.

The parade will start at Findlay Market on Race Street like it normally does, but instead of going straight on Race, it will take a right on Liberty and then a left on Elm to Central Parkway. It will then go back to Race and proceed as normal to Fifth Street.

Don't forget: Local 12 is offering a chance to watch the parade in style. VIP seating is available on Fountain Square. $20 will get you a bleacher seat, a t-shirt and a seat cushion. Tickets are available at Koch's Sporting Goods on Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati.
