Couples renew vows at retirement village on Valentine's Day

SPRINGDALE, Ohio (Adam Clements) -- Love is in the air for se several couples at the Maple Knoll retirement community in Springdale. They're using Valentine's day to renew their wedding vows.

You know you love someone when you're willing to spend forty-six years with them. That's how long John and Helen Anderson have been married. If you ask them, each day is better than the last..

It's been nearly half a century since the Andersons said I do, on Valentine's Day they'll say I still do, but don't call it a vow renewal. "When you renew something you have to give it more vitality and we've got the vitality. So this is just a reminder to us and to our family and to our friends that we still are an item."

Eight couples renewed their vows at Maple Knoll, having a combined three hundred sixty years of marriage.
