Ninth charge filed against Judge Tracie Hunter
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Tracie Hunter has been indicted on a ninth criminal charge. The currently disqualified Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge now faces a ninth felony count.
The latest count is misuse of a county credit card. Hunter allegedly used that card to pay $1,200 in filing fees with the Ohio Supreme Court.
The indictments come after a nearly four month investigation by special prosecutors Merlyn Shiverdecker and Scott Croswell, who said more than 30 witnesses were interviewed and thousands of documents were reviewed.
Hunter was previously indicted for theft in office related to the same filings. She was also indicted for forgery, tampering with evidence, and a charge connected with her brother's employment with the juvenile court.
Hunter has been removed from the bench by the Ohio Supreme Court while her criminal case moves forward. She is scheduled to make her first court appearance as a defendant on Friday morning.
