Plan to Allow More Calamity Days Clears Panel

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- School districts that are out of snow days may not have to go to summer school after all.

A bill that would give Ohio school districts four additional calamity days this year just passed a committee vote.  It now goes to the State House where it will be voted on next week.

If it passes, the State Senate Education Committee will vote on the bill before it goes to Governor John Kasich.
