Firefighter recruits help out community

NORTHSIDE, Ohio (WKRC) -- The next class of Cincinnati firefighters is already lending a hand to the community.

Cincinnati fire recruits showed their strength today at a home on Kirby Avenue in Northside while helping out with Habitat for Humanity. This is part of the fire recruits' community service hours requirement.

In addition to Habitat for Humanity, they have volunteered at the EPIC house and the Millvale Recreation Center.

The recruits will graduate from Drill School on February 7th at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
