Deputies: women brought kids along during break-ins

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- Two Hamilton women are arrested on two burglary charges. Deputies say one of them, Annie Brown, had her two children along with her for at least one of the break-ins.

According to court documents, Brown and Jennifer Lipps, broke into a home on Eaglecreek Road in Colerain Township yesterday. As they were carrying tvs and jewelry out to their car, the homeowners came home. As the pair tried to drive away, deputies say Brown hit the homeowners' car and a tree. Her 3-year-old son was hurt and taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Investigators also say the women tried to rob another home on West Kemper Road. They're accused of breaking a window with a hammer. As an alarm went off, Brown dropped a TV and both of them took off.

Deputies say both women admitted to the crimes. A judge ordered Brown held on $40,000 on charges o burglary and endangering children. Jennifer Lipps is held on $10,000 bond on two burglary charges.
