MASON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Firefighters from eight different departments were called to help put out a house fire in Mason.

When crews arrived shortly before five Tuesday morning, flames were shooting from the garage windows at the home on Carriage Drive.  The fire was contained to the garage and the room above it.

The people living in the home made it out but one person received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Damage is estimated around 200,000 dollars.  The Red Cross is helping the family.

There is no word on what caused the fire.
