Driver pleads guilty to causing deadly ambulance crash

GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRC) -- A Tri-State man agrees to a plea deal in connection with a deadly crash in Gallatin County.
Hunter Legrand pleaded guilty to five of six charges including manslaughter, assault, criminal mischief and leaving the scene of an accident. A charge of OVI was dismissed.
Investigators say Legrand was behind the wheel of a Jeep that crossed the center line of Highway 127 last July. The Jeep hit an ambulance head-on, flipping the emergency vehicle on its top.

A patient and two medics were taken to the hospital. The patient, 59-year-old John Little, died. Legrand is scheduled to be sentenced in January.
