The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory. The wind advisory is in effect until 10pm tonight. Winds will be out of the southwest between 15 and 25mph, with gusts up to 50mph. Strong gusts will be possible within showers and isolated thunderstorms this afternoon and early evening. Scattered tree and power line damage is possible. Winds may make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Police Identify Woman and Child Killed in Accident on I-275 in Sharonville

Update: The Sharonville police department says 25-year-old Carol Booker and 4-year-old Reasia Lewis died in the accident on I-275 Sunday. Seven other people were injured in the accident. They are expected to survive. Police say they believe the disabled vehicle was in a lane of travel, instead of on the side of the road.


SHARONVILLE, Ohio (WKRC) - Interstate 275 was closed down in the Sharonville area for close to 5 hours Sunday evening after 2 people were killed in an accident and many others were injured.

The accident happened about 6 p.m. near the Reed Hartman Highway. A disabled vehicle was on the side of the road and was struck by another vehicle. A third car also clipped the car that hit the disabled vehicle.

A 6 year-old girl was pronounced dead at Bethesda North Hospital. An adult was first taken to Bethesda North Hospital and was then taken by Air Care to UC Medical Center. That adult was then pronounced dead at UC Medical Center.

A total of 9 people were taken to area hospitals as a result of the accident. The Sharonville Police Department continues to investigate.
