Clermont County Accident Victim Identified

A portion of White Oak Road in Clermont County's Pierce Township was shut down for much of Saturday morning due to a fatal accident.

Officers were called to an area just west of Route 125 about 5 a.m. That's where the Ohio State Highway Patrol says 35 year-old Robert Eversole, Jr. of Amelia was a driving a 2003 Kia when he failed to negotiate a curve properly. The vehicle went off the right side of the road hitting several mailboxes and then a culvert. The vehicle then went airborne and hit a utility pole. Eversole was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
