Teen Driver Killed in Crash Failed to Yield
MASON, Ohio (WKRC) -- The Ursuline Academy student who died after a crash in Mason, failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The driver who hit her car, was also cited for speeding.
Jordan Hoak was driving on Lexington Park Drive September 27, when police say she pulled out in front of traffic on Western Row Road. Her car was t-boned by another.
Hoak was taken to Miami Valley Hospital. She died on Monday. Visitation is Friday evening at Ursuline Academy. Funeral services are Saturday at St. Susanna church in Mason.
Dustin Wilson told police he "didn't see her one bit. Then once I seen her it was too late." Police say Wilson was driving 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. He was cited for speeding and not wearing a seat belt.
