Escaped Inmate Captured

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- An inmate who escaped from the Hamilton County Justice Center is back behind bars on a $25,000 bond.
Paul Greene ran away from the jail Saturday morning. Police caught up with him in Lincoln Heights a few hours later.

The sheriff's office is investigating how Greene escaped. According to court papers, a jail employee saw him following a food truck out of the jail parking lot. She saw him run through the casino court yard. Then he took off his shirt, threw it in a dumpster, and kept running.

Greene was in jail on charges of burglary, domestic violence and receiving stolen property.

Greene faced a judge this morning on a new escape charge.
