NSA Workers Using Powers to Spy on Love Interests

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKRC) -- The NSA's internal watchdog group reveals some employees used the agency's surveillance power to spy on their love interests.

A report details a dozen incidents where the system was abused, plus two that are currently under investigation and another pending allegation.

Some of the cases involve employees listening in on phone conversations of reported love interests and trying to tap into their e-mails.

The NSA's surveillance powers have been under fire after a leak by former contractor Edward Snowden revealed classified information on the program.
