Cleaning Woman and Two Others Steal Over $250,000

CLINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) -- Deputies say a cleaning woman and two others stole more than 250,000 dollars worth of cash and property.

Thursday two are in jail and another is on the run.  Clinton County detectives say Linda Cox, along with her son Justin Cox and her niece Mallory Patel stole from at least ten families over a period of about two years.

Investigators say they took cash, jewelry, antiques, heirlooms and even medication.  The trio face more than 30 charges, including grand theft, burglary, and breaking and entering.

Police say Linda Cox has confessed to many of the thefts. 

Investigators are still searching for Justin Cox.
