Sharks place Havlat on IR

San Jose, CA (Sports Network) - The San Jose Sharks have placed forward Martin Havlat on injured reserve because of lower body injury.

Havlat, who hasn't played since last Saturday, has three goals and three assists in 20 games this season.

The Sharks also activated forward Tommy Wingles off injured reserve. He hasn't played since Feb. 23 because of an upper body injury and has a goal with four assists in 16 games.

In addition, San Jose also recalled goaltender Alex Stalock and forward Matt Pelech from its AHL affiliate in Worcester and assigned goaltender Thomas Heemskerk to the minor league club.
