Panthers get Brennan from Sabres

Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - The Florida Panthers have acquired defenseman T.J. Brennan from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a fifth round selection in the 2013 draft.

The 23-year-old Brennan has played in 21 NHL games, all with Buffalo (2011-2013) scoring two goals with 12 penalty minutes. He has played in 36 games with Rochester (AHL) this season, and ranks first on the team in goals

Brennan was a second-round draft pick of the Sabres in 2007.
