Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Jets have activated goaltender Al Montoya off injured reserve.

Montoya, who was placed on IR Monday, had been sidelined since March 13 with a lower-body injury.

The 28-year-old netminder is 3-0-0 with a 2.33 goals-against average and one shutout in five appearances this season.

Winnipeg sent goaltender Eddie Pasquale back to its AHL affiliate in St. John's. Pasquale was recalled on Monday.
