Jets acquire Tangradi from Penguins

Winnipeg, MB (Sports Network) - The Winnipeg Jets acquired forward Eric Tangradi from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday in exchange for a seventh- round pick in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Tangradi played in five games for the Penguins this season. He started the campaign with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, recording 10 goals and eight assists in 34 games.

The 24-year-old has played in 45 career NHL games, all with Pittsburgh, registering one goal and four assists to go along with 26 penalty minutes.
