New York, NY (Sports Network) - The National Hockey League announced on Monday that the Bruins-Lightning game, whose start time was pushed back and then postponed on Feb. 9, has been rescheduled for later in the season.

The new date for the tilt, which will take place at TD Garden in Boston at 7:30 p.m. ET, is Apr. 25, two days before the Bruins' season was originally scheduled to end with a road game at Washington.

The teams were initially slated to play at 1 p.m this past Saturday, then was pushed back to 7 p.m, then called off due to near-record snowfall in eastern New England.

Tampa Bay will arrive in Boston from a home contest with Toronto one day earlier, and will end its 2013 schedule on Apr. 27 by hosting the Florida Panthers.
