Bobrovsky, Crosby, Carter named NHL's 'Three Stars'

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, Pittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby and Los Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter have been selected as the NHL's 'Three Stars' for the week ending March 10.

Bobrovsky earned the First Star after posting a league-high four victories to go along with his first career shutout, a goals-against average of 0.77 and a .972 save percentage last week. He capped his week with a pair of wins over Detroit, including a 30-save shutout on Saturday.

Crosby picked up the Second Star with nine assists and 11 points in four games. He tied a career best with five assists in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Islanders.

Carter scored six goals in four games last week to claim the Third Star. He recorded his fifth career hat trick in a 5-1 win over Nashville on March 4.
