Blue Jackets place Moore on injured reserve

Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets placed defenseman John Moore on injured reserve on Monday.

Moore suffered a shoulder injury during the team's morning skate in Chicago on Friday and is expected to be out two-to-three weeks.

The 21st overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft, Moore has one assist along with two penalty minutes in 13 games this season.

In 82 career games with Columbus, Moore has two goals and six assists.
