Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - The Columbus Blue Jackets activated defenseman Nikita Nikitin off injured reserve prior to Thursday's game against the Calgary Flames.

Nikitin missed the past three games due to an upper-body injury. Acquired from the St. Louis Blues last year, Nikitin has two assists and six penalty minutes in seven games this season.
