St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues placed rookie forward Vladimir Tarasenko on injured reserve Friday.

The 21-year-old suffered an undisclosed injury in Wednesday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche.

Tarasenko played in all 17 games to that point, totaling six goals and six assists.

To fill the roster spot, the Blues recalled forward Chris Porter from Peoria of the American Hockey League. The 28-year-old posted 10 points (7G, 3A) in 12 games for the Rivermen.
