Blues' McDonald injured in practice, lands on IR

St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues placed forward Andy McDonald on injured reserve Wednesday.

McDonald is considered week-to-week after suffering a left knee injury during Tuesday's practice. In 18 games this season, he has registered three goals and eight assists.

Alex Steen was also shaken up in Tuesday's practice. The Blues have listed the forward, who leads the club in points (16) with four goals and 12 assists, as day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
