St. Louis, MO (Sports Network) - The St. Louis Blues activated goaltender Jaroslav Halak from injured reserve and assigned netminder Jake Allen to Peoria of the American Hockey League on Sunday.

Halak had been sidelined with a strained groin, last playing on Feb. 1.

In five games this season, Halak has posted two shutouts while going 3-0-0.

Allen made his NHL debut on Feb. 5, stopping 6-of-8 shots in relief of Brian Elliott in a 6-1 loss to Nashville.
