Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang will not play in Saturday's game at New Jersey as he continues to battle a lower-body injury.

Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said Friday that Letang, who sat out Pittsburgh's 5-2 win over Washington the previous night, will not make the trip for Saturday's matchup and remains day-to-day.

The two-time All-Star had gotten his 2012-13 season off to an excellent start, having notched three goals and six assists through Pittsburgh's first 10 games.
