Oilers' Khabibulin placed on injured list

Edmonton, AB (Sports Network) - The Edmonton Oilers have placed veteran goaltender Nikolai Khabibulin on injured reserve with an undisclosed ailment.

The 40-year-old Khabibulin, who the team lists as out indefinitely, is 2-2-1 with a 2.11 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage this season.

Third-string netminder Yann Danis has been recalled from AHL Oklahoma City.
