Bruins' Thornton out 7-10 days with concussion

Boston, MA (Sports Network) - Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton will miss the next 7-to-10 days with a concussion, the team announced on Friday.

The rugged Thornton was injured in the first period of Thursday's 7-4 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.

Thornton has one goal and 25 penalty minutes in seven games this season.
