Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago Bulls signed free agent guard Daequan Cook to an undisclosed contract on Sunday.

Cook began this season with Houston and appeared in 16 games with the Rockets before being waived this past Wednesday. The sixth-year pro averaged 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds prior to his release.

The 25-year-old had spent the previous two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder before being traded to the Rockets in October as part of the six- player mega-deal that landed reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year James Harden in Houston.

A 3-point specialist, Cook owns a career 36.5 shooting percentage from that distance and won the Three-Point Shootout competition during the 2009 NBA All- Star Weekend in Phoenix.
