Recap: Green Bay vs. Cal State Fullerton
Reno, NV (Sports Network) - Kwame Vaughn scored 29 points lead the Cal State Fullerton Titans to a 93-82 over the Green Bay Phoenix on the final day of action in the World Vision Classic at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno.
Vaughn shot 8-of-10 from the field and led the Titans (2-2) with eight rebounds. Sammy Yeager contributed 21 points hitting 5-of-6 three-point attempts. D.J. Seeley added 15 points in the win.
Alec Brown scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Green Bay (2-2) in its loss. Jordan Fouse added 11 points with nine rebounds while Sultan Muhammad had 11 points with six rebounds.
After the first half the Titans led 48-30 after making seven three-pointers compared to only one on 11 attempts from the Phoenix.
Green Bay outscored Cal State Fullerton 52-45 shooting 53.1 percent from the field but were unable to overcome the first half deficit.
The Titans were 10-of-20 on shots from three-point range while the Phoenix were 4-of-24.
After falling in their first two games of the season, the Titans have looked impressive in their last two games scoring a combined 205 points.
