the fact that the girl made it a point to do plastic surgery to lure a guy speaks of conforming to the notion of what is "pretty/beautiful" to a guy. why should she do that, if not to deceive both herself and the opposite sex? it's like marrying a person you have not met. unacceptable.

I know that beauty is subjective, BUT, this lady is absolutely beautiful. If her personality matches her looks i would marry her in a heart beat. On the other hand, with his droopy eyes and lousey haircut, he needs to avoid ALL mirrors when defining ugly. What is hard to believe is the idiot judge who sided with him! Talk about male chauvinist pigs - Unreal!!! This shows China's real value they put on women - PATHETIC!

I noticed as well, no picture of the husband...but we ARE talking about a country that is still a "man's" world - whatever that means in a Commie country...on the other hand, that may be all men have, which is a one up on women who have squat.

What...no pictures of the husband? Somthing tells me he wasn't exactly a hottie either. This lady is better off without him. Anyone who voices such negative feelings about his own wife and child is ugly on the inside...and unfotunately for him, plastic sugery doesn't fix that.

I'm on the dude's side. They get what, one kid in that country? It is bad enough that he got stuck with a daughter when I'm sure he wanted a son. Now, on top of it, he is stuck with an ugly daughter because his wife lied. She was hideous looking before her surgery. Maybe the judge should have made the wife pay for the newborn to have plastic surgery to make it all better.

This is so outrageous! This is their child. Not loving your child because he/she doesn't meet your expectations means you don't deserve a child. What kind of lawyer would take such a case! crazy.
