I am guessing here but I know there are programs that get people to take troubled kids in, in return for a monthly check, and the worse their troubles the bigger the check. There have even been programs which steer welfare recipients into this as a source of income. It all comes from the humanist philosophy that people are all nice and good so long as they have some money.

I have the same questions as Chenoosesmom. How do you have 7 starving children? If you can't support 1 or 2...WHY in hell do you have more or get more through adoption or foster, and if they are WHY wasn't this family being monitored or something done before one of them dies from starvation. This story is just enraging! What the hell is wrong with people!?!

My daughter has a feeding tube and is 100% dependant on me, this hurts me to the soul that a human being could do this to a child!

how could this happen to any kids ..............if they have serious handicapp problems or you just cant or donw want them please give them to someone who does.............these people need to be treated the same as they are treating these kids ............people like that need to be sterilized and not have children..............makes me sick reading these stories............

I'm confused. Are these kids adopted, in foster care of these folks or were they their own children. If under the care of the state, how come they are just now finding these children like this.

WTH? Are they kidding with "the case likely will be presented to the prosecutor's office for possible charges"? One would certainly hope so...and I am sure they are rec'g some sort of check since they say the children have physical and mental disabilities...but that in and of itself is even worse, if THAT is possible - jackwads! grrrr

We MUST do more to save and protect our children. This is despicable and disgusting.
