Arby's apparently has a beef with an employee who jumped through a drive-thru window to escape a robber holding a knife.
According to WHIO-TV, Mary Archer was an assistant manager who was closing a Dayton, Ohio store last week when the doorbell rang.
Archer thought it was a co-worker who had just left so she unlocked the door.
Instead it was a man shouting, "Give me the money."
"I really thought I was going to die," Archer, 56, told WHIO. She said she pushed the man away while she told herself, "I'm not going to die at Arby's tonight. I'm just not."
She then jump through the drive-thru window crying for help.
Archer was shocked to get a pink slip the next day.
"I just never thought that would happen to me, since my life was at stake," she told her television interviewer.
"I don't want my job back," she says. "I just want everybody to know what kind of company this is. They said I was not supposed to have been alone in the store."
The fast food chain said Archer violated a company rule by being alone in the store after hours.
